Something you might be interested in is “Manic” by Terri Cheney. It’s a pretty recent release that I’ve just started, and so far it reminds me of An Unquiet Mind. There’s also “A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius” by Dave Eggers, which wasn’t manic depression specific, but it’s an interesting memoir about a guy moving past the death of his parents.

I was just looking through your recommended reading and would like to let you and your readers know about a memoir, “Mind Gone Awry,” by Donald Kern, which is the story of Mr. Kern’s struggles and eventual recovery from Bipolar Disorder. He is a licensed psychotherapist with a history of this illness for 35 years, the last 24 free of episodes due to much tenacity, hope, and the miracles of modern medicine. His book can be ordered from his website: http://www.kerntherapy.com or from Amazon.com. I have enjoyed viewing: bipolarjourney.com
